لا بد أن يكون لمرفق حيوي هام ، قديم حديث مثل مرفق البريدأن يحافظ على كيانه من الإنقراض

ولا بد لهذه المحافظة أن يكون لها أسس قوية

كأن يواكب العصر حتى يستطيع الاستمرار

وبخدمة ارسال واستقبال الرسالة لن يستمر البريد في وقت انفجار ثورة الاتصالات السلكية واللاسلكية ، والتي اكتفى أكثر من 95% من مستخدمي البريد بايصال ما يريد عن طريق الاتصالات الحديثة ( SMS - MMS - E-Mail )

ولهذا ، كان لزاما على مؤسسات البريد إيجاد حلول ناجحة تساهم في استمرار البريد وعدم القضاء عليه من قبل البدائل القوية المنافسة ،،

فكانت هناك أدوار مهمة قامت بها مؤسسة البريد السعودي بقيادة معالي رئيسها الدكتور محمد بنتن في ابتكار مشاريع جديدة تجعل من البريد السعودي هدف كل مواطن ومقيم ، وذلك من خلال المشاريع الأخيرة الجديدة ( واصل - مريح 000 ) والعديد من البرامج البريدية والتي سوف تساهم في حل مشكلات جسام على مختلف الأصعدة والأوجه بالدولة رعاها الله 0
ويكمن مشروع واصل في إيجاد عنوان بريدي لكل مواطن ومقيم في هذا البلد المعطاء يستفيد منه في كل ما يخصه من مراسلات صادرة أو واردة ، وكذلك مشترياته من داخل المملكة وخارجها ، حيث يصله كل ما يريد إلى عنوان إقامته بدون أي معاناة ، كما انطلقت مؤخرا خدمة مريح وهي خدمة جديدة مقدمة من البريد السعودي تتمثل في جعل البريد نافذة المواطن والقيم والتي تطل على جميع ألإدارات الحكومية من سجلات مدنية أو جوازات أو رخص قيادة أو شهادات ميلاد أو تقديم بالجامعات 0000 وكافة الإدارات الحكومية الأخرى ـ حيث يحضر المواطن إلى مكتب البريد ويقوم البريد بالدور كاملا عن المواطن ، ثم يستلم معاملاته منجزة وجاهزة وفي محل إقامته بدون عناء أو تعب ،،

كما هناك العديد من الخدمات التي سوف تطرح قريبا ، مثل خدمة التصوير و البريد الإلكتروني ( الفاكس ) و بيع المظاريف وهناك خدمات كثيرة قادمة ،، ليكون البريد السعودي مرجع أي شخص لإنهاء أي شيء يحتاجه ومن أي مكان ،،

ولا شك بأن هذه الأفكار الجبارة والتي صدرت عن قيادة بريدية حكيمة تستطيع أن تنافس وتنتشر لتغطي كافة أرجاء الوطن وسوف يعود ذلك بالنفع على المواطن والمقيم والذي سيؤدي إلى خدمة الوطن الغالي ،،

ولا يسعنا إلا ن نشكر معالي رئيس مؤسسة البريد السعودي الدكتور محمد صالح بن طاهر بنتن على هذا الجهد الجبار لانتشال البريد السعودي ووضعه على مصاف الادارات الحديثة ،،

0 There were important roles undertaken by the Saudi Post Corporation under the leadership of His Excellency President Dr Mohammed Benten in the creation of new projects to make the Saudi mail a goal to every citizen and resident, throughout the recent new projects (Wasel-comfortable 000) and many mail programs, which will contribute to solving grave problems at various levels and aspects of the state sponsored by God 0
The goal of Wasel project is to find a mailing address for every citizen and resident in this generous country for the benefit of every correspondence issued or received, as well as purchases from within and outside the Kingdom, where everything he wants will be delivered to the address of his residence without any suffering, as the newly launched service comfortable a new service provided by Saudi Post is to make out of the mail a window to every citizen and resident,which includes all the government departments from the civil registries or passports or driving licenses or birth certificates or provide universities 0000 and all other government departments where the citizen comes to the post office and the mail fully takes part and spare the citizen all trouble , and then receives his transactions completed and ready in place of residence without the trouble or fatigue,

As there are many services that will be soon, such as photography service and fax and selling envelopes and other many services to come, so that the Saudi post will be a reference to any person to finish anything he needs from any location,

There is no doubt that these powerful ideas issued by the wise leadership of the post can compete and spread to cover all parts of the country and will return benefit to the citizens and residents that will lead to serving our dear homeland,

We can only thank His Excellency the President of the Saudi Postal Corporation, Dr. Mohammad Saleh Bin Taher Benten on this Huge effort to lift the Saudimail and place it on the ranks of modern administrations
