البريد السعودي يتفقد جهود رفع أضرار الأمطار
تفقد رئيس مؤسسة البريد السعودي الدكتور محمد صالح بن طاهر بنتن مبنى المجمع البريدي في منطقة البلد بمحافظة جدة، وتابع الأعمال الجارية لإزالة الأضرار اللاحقة بالمبنى جراء الأمطار الغزيرة التي هطلت على محافظة جدة يوم الأربعاء الماضي، وغمرت المناطق المحيطة بالمجمع، ما أدى إلى تدفق المياه بكثافة إلى طابقه الأرضي، ووافق على الخطة الطارئة التي أعدها بريد منطقة مكة المكرمة لمعالجة إرساليات البريد الواردة والصادرة من وإلى محافظة جدة في المجمع البريدي في العاصمة المقدسة بصفة استثنائية، حتى عودة العمل إلى طبيعته المجمع البريدي في منطقة البلد بمحافظة جدة، حرصاً على ضمان استمرارية تقديم الخدمة البريدية إلى الجهات الرسمية والشركات والمؤسسات والأفراد.
ووجه معاليه مسؤولي بريد منطقة مكة المكرمة خلال الجولة التفقدية يوم أمس بمضاعفة الجهود في تطبيق خطط الطوارئ الهادفة إلى إزالة أضرار الأمطار، والعمل على إعادة الأوضاع إلى طبيعتها في المجمع البريدي في جدة تمهيداً لاستئناف العمل في المجمع يوم الأحد المقبل كحد أقصى.
Saudi postal corporation inspects the efforts to remove rain damage
president of Saudi Post, Dr. Mohammad Saleh Bin Taher Benten inspects the Building of Postal Consortium in the Al-Balad in Jeddah, and he continued follow up the ongoing work to remove the damage that happened to the building due to heavy rains in the province of Jeddah on last Wednesday, and flooded on the surrounding area of the Consortium, which led the flow of water-intensive to the ground floor, and he agreed to the contingency plan prepared by Mecca post to handle shipments of incoming and outgoing mail to and from Jeddah in the Postal consortium in the Holy City on an exceptional basis, until the return of work to the consortium in Al-Bald postal in Jeddah, in order to ensure continuity in presenting postal service to the official authorities, businesses, foundations and individuals.
And his Excellency directed the officials of Mecca post during his inspection tour yesterday to redouble efforts in implementing of contingency plans which made to remove rain damage, and bring the situation back to normal in the consortium in Jeddah Postal prelude to the resumption of work at the consortium maximum on next Sunday.
